Why do friendships fall apart?
Thinking back to kindergarten, primary school, highschool, college, Uni..
Who are the friend's which stayed and those who claimed to be your "best friend" but stabbed you in the back? or just took advantage of you?
Kindergarden and primary school's friendships usually don't last cause as kids grow up, we are interested in different things and so, we go into highschool and find different clicks.
As we go into highschool and Uni, we find friends with the same interest, friends whom we click with and those which we spend our "best" years of our lives with.
But what if it doesn't last as well?
Some friend's drift apart cause they don't bother keeping in touch. And most often then not, they fall apart because of all the backstabbing.
Some even cause they were taken advantage of.
Sometimes, we just get fed up with all of these that we dont bother keeping in touch with those type of friend's anymore.
When you look around and realize that one by one your friend's are leaving you, what do you do?
When you stop getting invited to parties or just to hang out by the people you usually do, maybe it's about time you take a long hard look in the mirror and think where the problem really lies.
Friendship is one of the most precious thing in life.
Friends are those who keep you strong when you are at your lowest.
And besides your family, they are the one you lean on when no one is there.
So treasure the ones close to you and make things right before you lose them. Don't be afraid to be the one who apologizes especially when you're in the wrong.
